NEW YORK - The PooL Art Fair at the Gershwin Hotel
March 2010
I was recently selected to particpate in the PooL Art Fair at the Gershwin Hotel in New York City in March of 2010. In this event, each participating artist is assigned a room which they are then, allowed to redecorate as a gallery. The show ran for three days in early March and the attendance was tremendous. Click on the PooL Art Fair logo to see a short two-minute film of the event and my room.

ROME - "International Symposium on the Mandala"
November 2009
My deepest gratitude to the folks at ARTROM and the international art community for inviting me to this spectacular world-wide event. I was part of this month-long event in Rome during the month of December 2009. Joined by three other artists, this event allowed me to bring my work to an international stage. The opening featured a presentation by Dr. Polichetti, a world-renowned expert in Eastern art from the Italian Ministry of Culture. My heartfelt thanks got out to Elizabeth Genovesi, Daphne, and Agnes for their hard work and dedication.

Spirit and Substance - Gallery Seven July-August 2009
It was a wonderful exhibit featuring ten new pieces I created over the course of 2009. Nick Johnson of Gallery Seven did the framing for the new work. His wife Kelli prepared a wonderful reception with hand-prepared foods and wine. A wonderful time was had by all!
The new works included, "Ball of Confusion,: "Samadhi," The Ninth Harmonic," "Tandoori," "Tabula Rasa," "Chakra Sixth," "Sun King," Zodiac," "Pillow Of Winds," and "Dorje." Each of these are new creations and are drawn primarily in acrylic inks which are rich in pigment and yet remarkably fluid.
I held a discussion abou the mandalas and spoke to an audience about the creative process and the healing characteristics of the round medium.

The Modern Mandala at Endicott College - March-April 2009
I was honored to be a part of Endicott College's "The Modern Mandala" exhibit from August 20 to September 26th. The visual display of contemporary mandala artists is a wonderfully vibrant collection of spiritual art. Three other artists and myself were selected to present our interpretation of this ancient spiritual artform. The exhibit is housed in the Art Center at Endicott College in Beverly, MA. The artists reception is slated for September 17th at 4:30 PM. There is some very interesting press about the event. Click here to read.
What good is art if it can't be seen? I frequently do exhibits in an effort to spread the color and message of these spiritual prayers throughout the global neighborhood. As a traveler, I traipse the landscape and display where ever there are open hearts and open minds. The spiritual electricity that courses through these mandalas is best realized in person. Check here frequently to see what I have created and where I'll be showing next. Watch for news of upcoming events, seminars and appearances.
